Being a mom of 7, maternity sessions weren't a thing when I had my first few kids.
It is such a beautiful way to capture this wonderful time in a woman’s life!
I'm so glad I was able to document this special time for this couple!
Before moving up to New Hampshire I was able to photograph my Aunt, Uncle and their family. I gifted them a session since I had the opportunity now that I live closer. My Uncle was recently diagnosed with early onset alzheimer's and I wanted to capture moments of him with his family.
My Aunt Alicia & Uncle Richard have not always had it easy. In 1994 they lost their son to meningitis. He had just had his 5th birthday. The emotions of my cousins death are still so raw, I can’t type this without tears. He was the sweetest little boy! I still remember christmas of 1993, his last christmas. One of my cousins hurt my feels and I was sitting in the living room crying. Mark came up to me and said “Don’t cry Wawa, I’ll never hurt your feelings” and gave me a big hug. He had such a kind soul. Marks passing was hard for everyone, most of all my Aunt, Uncle & my cousin Jessica
Seeing Aunt Alicia and Uncle Richard have grandchildren to enjoy has been heartwarming. I had felt that My Uncle Richard had a grandson to do some of the things he wished he could’ve done with his son. It just doesn’t look like that’ll happen now, not with the diagnosis that my Uncle has.
Jean and Royce were visiting beautiful Pensacola beach from Texas. Jean said that they have never done professional portraits of just the two of them. They were such a fun, sweet couple! Heather called me about a week out of her wedding date hoping that I was available to capture her elopement. She said that her and Aaron would be vacationing at Navarre beach and decided they wanted to get married in a simple ceremony.
I set up a meeting with them the day before their ceremony. I showed them a beautiful area where I suggested they get married. They loved the location and were excited for their wedding!
The following day I made sure to be at their wedding location early. I met the officiant and her husband and enjoyed their company while waiting for Heather & Aaron. Then we got phone calls that they wouldn't be able to get to us. The blue angles flew that afternoon and traffic to get of the beach was awful! They sat in their car for over and hour and barely moved. We had to go to them! Which was fine, wedding don't always go as planned, I like to flexible for my clients. I was a little worried that I was loosing light but thankfully I brought some lights with me.
It was small, simple and quick but I think it was a beautiful elopement!
Malayne and Justin Pensacola Beach wedding was everything I love about beach weddings. It was intimate and joyful, easygoing but also refined, and full of family and friends who were genuinely happy to be there and see these two get married. The ceremony took place behind Hemingway’s Island Grill. Malayne chose beach decor for the reception, which perfectly complemented this Hemingway’s wedding.
I think one of the most essential elements to being a good wedding photographer is truly enjoying working with people. My weekends brings new couples with new families and friends, and I so enjoy the opportunity to be a part of so many special days for so many people.
Tremella and Phillip were absolutely lovely to work with. It’s always encouraging to be around others who have such a positive attitude on life. Their ceremony and reception had so much attention to detail. The Club at Hidden Creek in Navarre FL was a beautiful backdrop for such a special occasion!

This family wanted to celebrate their daughters first birthday with a photography session! She was such a sweetheart! She was a little tired and not very smiley but she was still so great through the whole session!
Florida has beautiful beaches. I always love finding different settings for my sessions. I absolutly love this setting! This couple was so much fun to photograph!
